The original company, Instavet, was founded by Harry Mahieu in 1985. After changing hands in 2011, the company was then purchased from Chemfit in 2013 and rebranded to DIAG Import & Export CC.

The company strives to offers a wide range of quality veterinary products, instrumentation and consumables which is backed by a supplier quality guarantee. These leading products are sourced locally and internationally and are offered to the South African and African market.
